Our 100% grass-fed Katahdin lambs are born on pasture and never leave our fields until harvest day. A lamb that only consumes forage means that the fat composition is just right, not fatty like a grain-finished animal. We follow certified organic practices which exclude any chemical medications to the lambs or treatments on the land. These lambs always get a fresh bite of grass and are never in one place for longer than 3 days. This rigorous management ensures optimum animal and land health while maintaining an even plane of nutrition that builds muscle and deposits fat for superior carcass quality.
